Flags In ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery ahead of 2010 Memorial Day

The ceremony known as 'Flags In' is performed to commemorate and honor US military personnel ahead of the upcoming 31 May 2010 Memorial Day and has been conducted annually since 1948. Soldiers of 3rd US Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) are joined by service members from the US Marine Corps Ceremonial and Guard Company, US Navy Ceremonial Guard , US Air Force Honor Guard and the US Coast Guard Ceremonial Honor Guard in placing more than 250,000 grave decorating flags in the cemetery.
